The Beginning of My Spiritual Journey: Today I Am a Yoga and Reiki Teacher in Calabria<\/strong><\/p>\n

The intention behind this article<\/h2>\n

This story was born from a journey that began more than seven years ago\u2014a path that is still unfolding today and that has profoundly transformed the way I live, perceive, and teach. I share this experience step by step with the intention of offering a space of recognition to those who feel the same inner calling. To those who sense that something is moving within them but cannot yet give it a name. To those who have questions, new perceptions, perhaps even a little fear, and do not know where to begin.
\nIf you recognize yourself in these words, know that you are not alone. This is the story of my spiritual journey, shared with the hope that it may illuminate\u2014even just a little\u2014your own.<\/p>\n

Turning 40 and the beginning of my spiritual path<\/h2>\n

When I turned 40, I felt clearly that something in my life was about to change deeply, even though I did not yet know what. It was not one of the \u201cclassic\u201d changes often associated with this phase of life\u2014marriage, children\u2014but rather a quiet, powerful inner movement.
\nWhat I was experiencing was a true rebirth: the beginning of a spiritual journey that would lead me to remember who I truly am. Not only a body, but also soul and spirit.<\/p>\n

Premonitory dreams and inner awakening<\/h2>\n

For some time, I had been having dreams that I felt carried a deep meaning. This had already happened to me as a child, but as I approached my 40s, these dreams became increasingly clear\u2014premonitory.
\nWithin me grew the intuition that I needed to discover something important about myself, something I could not yet understand rationally.
\nI began to explore the world of subtle energies, spirituality, and energetic healing. For a while, I even wondered whether I might be a \u201cwitch.\u201d This curiosity led me toward Reiki and Kundalini energy.<\/p>\n

My first encounter with Reiki (and skepticism)<\/h2>\n

It was February 2019 when I began researching Reiki. At first, however, I was not ready: my rational mind was still very strong, and I struggled to believe in the existence of a universal energy capable of rebalancing and healing.
\nI remember the first YouTube video I watched by Torsten A. Lange, who would later become my Reiki teacher. He was demonstrating an experiment with water treated with Reiki. My reaction was:
\n\u201cThese people are completely crazy\u2026 and they even make YouTube videos!\u201d \ud83d\ude05
\nAnd yet, something inside me had already begun to shift.<\/p>\n

How I began practicing yoga and meditation<\/h2>\n

Despite my skepticism, in March I began meditating and practicing mindfulness through Sam Harris\u2019s course Waking Up, which opened me even further to the world of awareness and spirituality.
\nIn May, I met a yoga teacher who helped me understand what yoga truly is\u2014far beyond its physical aspect. On June 12th, I attended my very first yoga class at Indaba Yoga Studio in London. I took advantage of a special offer and signed up without too many expectations. It was love at first sight.
\nI began with Kundalini Yoga, but also explored other beginner-friendly styles: Hot Yoga, Vinyasa, Vinyasa Flow, Jivamukti, Yin, Iyengar, Ashtanga. I soon gave up the gym, realizing that yoga would become a fundamental part of my life and my spiritual path.<\/p>\n

Kundalini Yoga and the perception of subtle energies<\/h2>\n

Over time, I began to perceive subtle energies more and more clearly. During a Kundalini Yoga class dedicated to heart opening, I had an intense experience: I felt the presence of my grandparents and two uncles who had already passed away.
\nOn another occasion, during Shavasana after a Vinyasa class, the cry of a child playing in the street passed through my energy with surprising force. It was as if the sound vibrated inside me, amplified. I felt my aura vibrating, along with sensations within my body. In that moment, I understood that my perception of reality was changing.
\nI was coming into contact with a new world\u2014subtle and deeply fascinating. Of course, my mind had many questions and demanded all the answers.<\/p>\n

Entering the world of Reiki<\/h2>\n

After watching the film Peaceful Warrior, I decided to enroll in a Level One Reiki course at the London Reiki Academy. I was giving more and more space to my intuition, despite the mind\u2019s questions, and I felt that this was the right path for me.
\nTorsten A. Lange was the teacher who inspired the most trust in me after my online research. I initially enrolled in the late-August course, and that same evening I also bought his book, Reiki Made Easy. It arrived the very next day, and I started reading it immediately.
\nIt was incredible to read how many people Torsten had been able to help through Reiki. I had no doubts: I needed to take Level One as soon as possible, so I moved my enrollment forward to the late-July course.
\nEvery page of his book confirmed what I felt: Reiki would become an integral part of my path.<\/p>\n

Today I teach yoga and Reiki in Calabria<\/h2>\n

All of these steps brought me back, little by little, to myself. Today, this spiritual journey has led me to teach yoga in Calabria, in Zambrone near Tropea.
\nMy classes are born from direct experience, deep listening, and the desire to accompany people on a path of awareness, presence, and connection with their body and their energy.
\nTeaching yoga in Calabria, in contact with nature and the sea, feels like a natural extension of this inner journey.<\/p>\n

Conclusion: a path that continues<\/h2>\n

This article is only the first in a series of stories in which I share my journey, which began more than seven years ago when I was living in London\u2014a path made of mindfulness, yoga, Reiki, listening, and transformation. A journey that continues and that I feel called to share with authenticity, because every lived experience becomes part of the teaching.<\/p>\n

Today, as a yoga and Reiki teacher in Calabria, in Zambrone<\/strong> near Tropea<\/strong>, I accompany people on a path of presence and awareness rooted in direct experience.
